| Since China’s reform and opening up, Guangzhou’s economic had a rapid development, expansion of urban space is obvious, the traditional villages experiencing unprecedented process of ruralization. In this process, some ancient villages completely annihilate in the modernization process of the city. Being too blind regulation makes some villages’ cultural heritage loss. Village’s characteristic gradual convergence and the buildings were large-scale "modernization", resulting in "thousands of village have only one sight" situation.More part of the legacy of traditional villages public space was severely damaged, the streets also lost its original vigor and vitality, villages’ original texture no longer existed. Therefore, how to keep a reasonable construction has become a priority for today’s discussion.This article will select Pujin village’s renovation project which I participated as an object of study. Find the appropriate public space’s update policies to the same type of transformation.This article is divided into four parts. The first part mainly contain the first chapter. Describes the background and significance of the concept and scope of the study. Review relevant research at home and abroad, confirm the research objectives, contents, methods and frameworks. It’s the theory base of the study. The second part comprises the second chapter and the third chapter of the article. Firstly through research and interviews with villagers, introduces the status quo of the Pujin village from a macro level, analyzed its geography, climate, history, economy, population, use of the land and surroundings. Summarized the more prominent issue in the village. Secondly, introduce the current situation of the public spaces in the Pujin village, also on this basis, to identify the problems, and targeted to the Pujin village detailed interpretation of public space, so that the design can be targeted. The third part is the fourth chapter, presented the objectives and principles of the Pujin village’s public space protection and renewal on the basis of the chapters on the front. And with reference to the type of public space similar to the traditional villages’ update cases, according to the different types of the public spaces in Pujin village and proposed detailed update policy. The fourth part is the fifth chapter, some public space for the Pujin village reconstruction technique proposed before were summarized in order to make reference significance to the public space’s renewal in Conghua and even in the area of lingnan. |
