Life Of “Ercun” : The Growing Of The Tibetan Reservoir Immigrant Community

The inundation area of Tao River Jiudianxia dam project mainly involved in 7 townships, 23 administrative villages of Zhuoni, Lintan and Minxian 3 Counties. Most of the migration caused by the project are relocated concentrated outside to settlements---Bai Q ibao,Guazhou county of Jiuquan C ity. The distance between the area of origin and the area of destination up to 1400 km, which means the two areas have very different environment. There are 3218 Tibetans in the immigrants moved to Guazhou, accounting for 34.55% of the total number of migrants moved. This means that immigrants living natural environment and the socio-cultural environment has changed by leaps and bounds, especially for the Tibetan immigrants, the physical geography, demographic, socio-cultural, and means of livelihood of new communities they live in are different to communities they lived in the past almost completely. Starting from the perspective of community study, the formation of community in geospatial and demographic factors does not represent the establishment of other community structures.Because each person must establish a new interdependent relationship with other people from different places with different social and cultural backgrounds within the community, and must establish close ties to this land which they will live in and rely on. The research purpose of this paper is to analysis the interaction between community members, the relationship between family members and the relationship between people with the land in livelihood activities, by examining the immigration’s various life issues in different space of the new community, and then analysis the formation and development of the whole structure of the community. Also observe the construction and development situation about the community in the society, economy, culture and organizations at the grass-roots level, ecological and other aspects, and found the difficulties. Finally summarize the fundamental problem of the new community in the growth and development process, trying to come up some thinking.
