In the recent decades, due to the belt conveyor has incomparable advantages compared with other transportation machinery, our belt conveyor has been a rapid development. In order to reduce the belt tension up and running, and now most of the system use the multi-level drive. Since the start of the conveyor during operation will have a great impact, but the impact will result in the belt as the belt passes vibration phenomenon occurs, the system is not capable of running a smooth start and work. The power of the motor imbalance will increase the impact of the wave, while the power imbalance causes the motor in an overload condition, cause a serious damage to the motor, is not conducive to normal production. Therefore, the study of multi-machine belt conveyor drive double-end balance of power has a very important theoretical and practical value.This thesis introduces the principle of friction drive belt conveyor, the driving force distribution, given each cylinder multi drum driving analysis which analyzes the distribution of the driving force double drum, the introduction of a formula of power imbalance. Based on this formula, the effects of power imbalances, and carried out a detailed analysis by MATLAB simulation. Then it analyzes the dynamic characteristics of belt conveyor, and the theoretical analysis, and draw the kinetic equation and its solution. Also discussed several acceleration start curve and simulation of MATLAB, a combination of its own characteristics, the design is more suitable for the project "S" shaped curve starts. It analyzes the power balance control method, with a torque rotational speed control method, current-speed control and current control method and power balance, and theoretical simulation.Based on the actual engineering practice, analysis of belt conveyor power balance adjustment policies and implement applications. It elaborated design of belt conveyor electrical control system, including hardware and software design, process control design, protection systems, and human-computer interface design and so on. PID regulation system gives power to achieve balanced application by adjusting the front and the actual motor current curve of system operation after adjusting contrast analysis indicates that such adjustment is feasible.
