The lean maintenance can optimize maintenance flows, improve maintenance efficiency, optimize the allocation of resources, stimulate the vitality of the power grid enterprises, enhance the innovation ability of enterprises, and enhance the management level, so as to increase enterprise benefit.The research background of this topic is explained; the research status and development trend of lean management at home and abroad, and its application in power grid maintenance are explained.
