| Shortage of water resources limits the regional economic development, even threats to the safety of drinking water. The long distance water project is an important way to solve the uneven spatial distribution of water resources in China. Water pipeline becomes the first choice of long distance water projects for its little leakage, light water pollution and other advantages. Taking the specific long-distance water pipeline engineering as an example, this thesis water analyzes the choice of pipe in long-distance pipeline, the economic pipe diameter and pipeline arrangement scheme with comparison, and gains corresponding technical data and conclusions, which can provide a reference for the long-distance pipeline water projects. The main contents and results of this thesis are as follows:(1) Based on the principle of a minimum annual operating costs, this thesis establishes a economic pipeline model which is corresponding to minimum annual operating cost. Taking the specific project as an example, the pipe economic diameter of glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe, ductile iron pipe and UPVC pipe were respectively calculated, which can provide the technical data for selecting pipe’s material and pipe’s diameter.(2) The main influencing factors of the economic diameter are analyzed and the corresponding data are also calculated, including electricity price of water supply, pipeline pressure, the annual water supply hours and the proportion that production costs accounts in pipeline investment. Then the corresponding variation relationship is determined, which can provide technical data for determining the reasonable economic diameter.(3)The arrangement of long-distance water pipeline project has a great influence on project investment and operating cost. For the water conveyance project that has no requirements for water diversion, this thesis proposes to abolish the high-water-level reservoir and adopt the scheme of direct water supply with pump pressure. Because this can reduce the investment of high-water-level reservoir, and give convenience to the normal operation and management. On the other hand, the abolition of high-water-level can form a syphonage in the highest point of the pipeline, which can reduce the pump’s head of delivery in the normal supply and save.energy.(4) In the long-distance pipeline projects located in the area with great topography changes, the arrangement of pipeline should take fully use of the gravity according to the specific terrain conditions. With ensuring the normal water supply, the water pressure can be reduced by changing the diameter of pipe, which can also reduce the investment of project. |
