YanChuan Yellow River water diversion project, shanxi provincial party committee, theprovincial government "two network" of the whole province joint scheduling key watersupply project and provincial key water conservancy project, the project for speed upYanAnShi industry transformation and the energy and chemical industry base construction,promote the sustainable economic and social development, has important historicalsignificance.YanChuan water-transmission line of the Yellow River water diversion project is mainlyfor the pressure flow water pipeline, pipeline total length of115.801km, water pipeline ismainly divided into yellow high total length of25.632km, mains Gao Yan regional totallength of57.352km and high regional total length of32.817km. Against the project belongsto the long distance, high lift, more ups and downs, the water conveyance project of bigdiameter, the pumping station piping system the calculation of water hammer (hydraulictransition process), has become one of the important task to the safe operation of the project.YanChuan Yellow River diversion project are briefly introduced general situation of theproject and the main technical data, and briefly summarizes the commonly used in the processof pumping water hammer calculation characteristic line method, and the centrifugal pump,exhaust valve, pressure relief valves, tank solution formulas and the boundary conditions suchas computer pipe air movement theory. Pump station in water conveyance system for thisproject running water hammer problems may arise during the process, the application ofcomputer calculation of water hammer protection of visual program language, thecombination of a variety of protective measures is adopted to improve the computersimulations of the water hammer calculation, compared several schemes, puts forward thespecific effective accident stopped pumping water hammer protective measures, its purpose isto reduce the harm of water hammer, in order to ensure the normal operation of pumpingstation engineering.This article research has shown that for long distance pipeline pump station, pumpaccident shutdown of water hammer protection according to the boundary conditions foranalysis and calculation, and combined with the pipeline arrangement, and take the corresponding protective measures, such as installing exhaust valve buffer, box-type two-waysurge tank tower and other protective measures can play a protective effect, finally putforward the current problems needs further study in pumping water hammer analysis.Obtained the results of this study is not only beneficial to YanChuan diversion project pumpstation operation management, and construction of similar projects in the future also hasimportant reference value and guiding significance.
