Modeling Method Research And Realization Of Process Information Model Based On MBD

Model based definition(MBD) technology as a new method of 3D digital product definition is still very immature in terms of application, the study of the MBD is focused on process design, standardization of annotation and virtual assembly etc, research on how to create effective MBD process information model is one of the major problems.In this paper based on study the organization structure of MBD process information model and how to express and organize model non geometry information, and proposed a modeling method of the process Information Model Based on MBD. Apply SolidWorks API functions and Visual Basic 6.0 secondary development tools, developed the process Information Model Based on MBD aided design system, intend to assist design personnel manage and organize MBD model 3D process information.The main content is as follows:Firstly, analyzed the organization structure of MBD process information model, defined the process Information Model Based on MBD, and researched on how to express and organize model non geometry information under the SolidWorks environment.Secondly, this paper proposed a modeling method of the process Information Model Based on MBD, and developed MBD design model aided design system, aided design personnel to complete the design model management of attribute information、dimensions information extraction and model variant control、shape and position tolerances automatic extraction and other functions.Thirdly, developed MBD process Information Model aided design system. System process information organization module can help process personnel to manage process information; 3D machining working procedure card generated module can generate PDF format working procedure card, and insert the U3 D format 3D model of corresponding working procedure, help realize the generation of 3D machining working procedure card; process information storage and retrieval module can realize read and write operations to process information in the database.
