EMU starting experiment is used to judge whether the traction motor wiring is correct or not. Any error of the traction motor wiring will lead to the burnout of the motor and cause accidents and economic losses. This paper mainly studied EMU traction motor steering judgment method based on non-contact, and developed a suite of software and hardware systems, which are mainly used in judging whether the EMU traction motor wiring is correct or not.This paper first introduces the current situation of the domestic starting experiment. Then it analyzes in detail the principles of the starting experiment of EMU, and according to the principles, it introduces the logic of the system automatic discrimination. It also introduces the ZigBee technology, which is used to realize the wireless non-contact data transmission.Then, according to requirement analysis and performance analysis of the EMU starting experiment, this paper brings forward the overall scheme design of the system, which is divided into hardware design and software design. The hardware design includes the design of data acquisition module and wireless receiver design. It mainly completes the design of the MSP430 MCU and CC2520 RF semiconductor chips communication circuit, the design of the inclinometer data acquisition circuit and other functional module design, including the circuit design of the wireless receiver; at the same time, it introduces the function and performance of the main chips. The software design mainly completes the lower computer software design and the upper computer software design. The lower computer software design includes the communication software implementation between MPS430 and CC2520, and by controlling inclinometer, MPS430 can achieve data sampling. The upper computer software design mainly includes the serial communication module design, data unpack module design, the discrimination of steering data algorithm module design and display interface design,etc. There is also a brief introduction of the corresponding development platform in the software design part.The last part of the paper focuses on the test verification of the system functions. Aiming at all kinds of problems in the field test, we can verify the accuracy and feasibility of the software and hardware testing system by constantly improving the steering discrimination algorithm.
