With the development of science and technology,Active Phased Array is widely used in airborne, shipborne and satellite military fields. As the core component of Active Phased Array, the function and index requirements of the T/R Module for Phased Array are also increasing. This paper designs a multichannel wideband phase-shifting amplifier transmitting module and a multibeam RF receiving module, based on the two typical application requirements of wideband radome test and space multibeam measurement and control. The universal and portable broadband phase-shifting transmitter module designed in this paper consists of 16 transmitting channels, which supports the field test of the broadband radome in the frequency range of 6-18 GHz.In the design, the methods of multistage gain control and broadband amplitude compensation are adopted.Based on the link decomposition and module cascade design, the subsection debugging optimization of the VSWR and the consistency between channels in the three octave wide-band components are realized,so as to the phase-shifting accuracy of each channel is improved. At the same time, the wideband equalizer is used to compensate the gain drop in the high frequency band to ensure the gain flatness in the wideband. The four beam RF receiving module designed in this paper consists of eight circularly polarized receiving channels, which can switch left and right polarizations through switches. It is mainly used in multi-target communication, aerospace measurement and control and other fields. The design method of realizing RF multi beam with multilayer composite board is proposed in this module.Multiple beams are received and synthesized by the microstrip line on the surface of the composite board and the stripline inside of the composite board at the same time. And the structure of the discontinuity of RF transmission needed for the beam crossing synthesis is analyzed and designed. The performance test of the two modules show that the gain of the transmitting module is more than 12 d B in the broadband, the amplitude consistency of each channel is less than 2d B,the phase-shifting state is controllable and the RMS phase-shifting error is less than 6 degrees. The gain of the receiving module is 18 d B,the noise coefficient is less than 7.5d B,the amplitude consistency between different channels is less than 2d B,and the isolation between adjacent beams is 30 d B.The transmitting and receiving modules have achieved the expected design goals.
