But in the process of the development of today’s garden, the people did not understand the development of the western garden, caused many people to the blind pursuit of western gardening technique, caused the domestic many modern garden without Chinese characteristics and style of neither fish nor fowl.When we turn to the west garden art, in modern times, the emergence of Britain’s natural type landscape architecture, changed the rules of Europe by the type of garden rule one thousand years of history, make it to Europe, and even the world landscape development have played an important role in milestone. Therefore, to explore the causes and characteristics of English natural garden, both for understanding of European landscape system and for the whole landscape system, has important role.In the field of academic research in China, the study of the natural landscape architecture is not enough. Since the 80 s, although our country has many scholars to study, but the key introduction to be more historical architecture and aesthetic aspects, but the landscape elements and case these fields do not make a detailed analysis. So the personality characteristics of the British landscape garden is comprehensive. This paper to study the specific form and design technique, with case analysis, from the natural environment, historical background, human factors, artistic features, landscape elements analyzed the characteristics of the formation and development of the natural style garden. At last, through the analysis and study for the British natural landscape architecture, and help to understand the essential characteristics of garden art, garden art found the universal laws, to create a new style of gardening art for reference.
