| The rapid development of China’s economy contributes to the increasingly growth in large-scale engineering projects and huge demand for high-power bulldozers begins emerging. High-power bulldozers now are not many in domestic market and most of them are gotten by importing. Performance matching is the foundation to develop high-power bulldozers. Based on the study on high-power bulldozers’ power transmission system, the paper develops a matching software of hydraulic transmission system suitable to high-power engines, which benefits the performance matching of high-power bulldozers by avoiding the unnecessary losses and largely lessening the product development cycle. In a word, the software plays a significant role in studying high-power bulldozers’ performance matching.The paper focuses on the following aspects.1. Studying on high-power engine’s performance characteristics by contrasting the difference between external characteristic curves of high-power and small-power engines and offering the calculation formula of high-power engine’s characteristics.2. Studying hydraulic torque converters matched to high-power engines and setting up related mathematical models.3. Studying the matching theories between high-power engines and hydrodynamic torque converters; building various kinds of mathematical models for power transmission systems; evaluating the matching effects by analyzing data of tractive characteristics.4. Developing a software to calculate the matching between high-power engines and hydrodynamic torque converters with VB programming; adding hydrodynamic torque converter lock calculation to tractive characteristics’ parameter calculation so as to make the software more practical; debugging and testing the software by analyzing the parameters between some kind of large-power diesel engine and hydrodynamic torque converter to solve the actual issues of enterprises. |
