As the focus of infrastructure construction, especially in railway construction in China is moving to the west, the railway construction faces increasingly complex engineering geological conditions, especially the difficult dangerous mountain area in the southwest of the our country, railway construction faced a huge challenge of the complex geological activity of active, complicated engineering geological conditions, geological disasters. Exploration as the soul of the construction of engineering design, engineering design reasonable or not is about operational safety and maintenance of the economy in the future. In difficult dangerous mountain, designers face complex topography. Disasters types are different,also wide distribution and large harm in mountain area of geological. Routing design not only to be under the principle of geological route selection to choose the route scheme which disaster risk is smallest, but also consider the economic risk of investment and environmental risk to optimize the reasonable route scheme. This paper projected risk assessment of railway route scheme for the following research by taking a typical railway in difficult dangerous mountain as the research object.By the using of the applicability of the RS and GIS technology, This paper established the spatial database of railway ruote environment. Status of railway route scheme decision-making evaluation, remote sensing (RS) and geographic information system (GIS) technology in the application status of railway construction were analyzed in this paper at first.After combined with difficult dangerous mountain unique environmental conditions, railway in a difficult dangerous mountain as the research background is proposed in this paper to set up the research thought and technical route. Through multiple channels of information collection, aided by the RS and GIS in the study area in topography and geomorphology, geology, hydrology, storage and transportation, and other railway external environment information management, this paper set up the spatial database of railway route environmental. According to the characteristics of the data in the database and ruote features, this paper put forward the method of route evaluation unit division based on RS and GIS.A variety of theoretical analysis method were used to study regional disasters distribution characteristics and make disaster risk zoning map. Geological disaster is the main problem of railway construction in difficult dangerous mountain. In order to solve it, this paper analysed from the internal and external causes of disasters. Make the qualitative analysis of 10 environmental impact factors such as the elevation height, the terrain slope, mountain slope and so on. The deterministic analysis principle of the quantitative was used to analysis the disasters and the correlation of environmental impact factors. Logistic regression model was used to analysis and predict the risk of disasters in the study area distribution and make a disaster risk zoning map.The paper established comprehensive risk assessment model of railway route scheme in difficult disasters mountain consisdering the unique environmental features in difficult dangerous mountainous aera. Disaster risk assessment model of route scheme was established based on the evaluation unit division method and disaster risk prediction model, which was used to analysis the route disaster risk quantitatively, combined with the economic indicators of risk and environment risk index, the improved TOPSIS method was used to establish the difficult dangerous mountain railway route scheme comprehensive risk assessment model.At last, the paper proposed quantitative risk assessment of two main projects alternative, which provided data support for scheme decision. At the same time verified the applicability and feasibility of the research results in this paper.Research on risk assessment of railway route scheme in difficult and dangerous mountain used the field investigation, mathematical modeling, theoretical analysis and engineering to verify the research method of combining the data analysis of route scheme and improve the management of the precision. It realized the quantitative assessment of the risk and made a long-term significance on solution to keep railway security in difficult disasters mountain, coordinate the relationship between the railway and the natural environment and reduce the investment risk.
