With the transformation of medical model, the connection between the environment and health, and now we’re on our way to a more human stage, medical institutions open a new era of health care facilities on external environment design, begin to pay more attention to the user’s physical, psychological, and social rehabilitation skills. Compared to mature foreign medical landscape architecture related Therapeutic landscape theory, the domestic medical institutions is still in its infancy, it is difficult to guide the practice. At the same time, as our country more and more city people face in all aspects of the psychological and physical diseases and aging problem, medical demand increases year by year, so to explore the hospital rehabilitation landscape on outdoor space for a appropriate environment to self-heating,recreation exercise, self-regulation, social activities to promote different users of Therapeutic landscape, is particularly urgent and important.Faced with such situation, firstly, this thesis consult a large number of related literature at home and abroad, in the related theory of Therapeutic landscape: the concept and characteristics, health care efficacy, relevant treatment and rehabilitation theory, and General hospital outdoor space composition, Therapeutic landscape design elements and principles of research.On the basis the thesis studied three representative large general hospital outdoor public space landscape of Jishuitan hospital, China-Japan friendship hospital, Anzhen hospital in beijing, with questionnaire combined with interviews, photographs, and field observation form. Secondly,outdoor space of different hospital Therapeutic characteristic landscape quality, the user’s activity, the influence of Therapeutic landscape rehabilitation to the user, and the people of Therapeutic landscape design proposal through quantitative research such as the combination of qualitative research methods, with the aid of Excel software system is analyzed and summarized. At last,this paper puts forward to different users in landscape design optimization strategy of rehabilitation needs as the guidance based on the theoretical and the practice research, in order to the development of modern medical environment and the Chinese garden to provide some beneficial exploration and the research direction.
