Conservation And Utilization Of Mining Heritage

The exploiting natural resources and environment of human beings without restraint caused serious damages. With mineral resources drying up, the mineral business failures and a mining town falls. At the same time, the original mines and the surrounding ecological environment were seriously polluted. And the lives of residents nearby and the further development of the society also were effected; In the 20th century, people gradually realized the importance of ecological environment problems. Meanwhile, environment protection and ecological restoration on mining heritage and the recycling development also gradually rise.The environmental restoration and the mining heritage reconstruction reuse in China started relatively late.Until 2004 there were officially relevant policy putting forward the word "mine park" and valuing the mining heritage as a kind of special cultural resources in order to respect the integrity and authenticity of the mining heritage itself under the premise of the environmental management and landscape renovation. Besides the certain recreational function, the protection of mining heritage also plays a role in popular science education and through tourism to develop the economy.Although mining heritage protection and development in China has a certain development but still in its infancy, there are a lot of loopholes and defects. On the basis of the related research at home and abroad and XiaoQinling mine park planning study, the paper will put forward the scientific, reasonable and feasible suggestions on the mining park protection and the low impact development.
