Research Of High-Emission Vehicles Monitoring System Based On The Active RFID

In recent years, with the rapid advance of the urbanization process, the number of urban population continues to grow. Followed by a surge in the number of motor vehicles, urban road network operating pressure increased year by year. There is no lack of emission standards for some of high-emission vehicles. Such vehicles in some sections of a particular time period are restricted access, but some of the illegal vehicles into the corresponding sections of the road. In order to carry out real-time monitoring of these illegal vehicles, this paper proposes a combination of active RFID technology and image license plate recognition technology, through these two ways to monitor the high-emission vehicles for specific sections. In the annual inspection of vehicles, to detect vehicle exhaust, and sending the corresponding green standard. The exhaust emission standard issued yellow, qualified exhaust emissions of green label payment and in vehicle installation active RFID label; Tag contains the corresponding green standard vehicle information. When the vehicle is traveling to the region within the limit line, limit monitoring equipment installed in the vehicle information for automatic capture region. First, the active RFID reader to read the electronic tag data, to determine whether the vehicle is high-emission vehicle. If it is high-emission vehicle, the use of the camera to shoot into the restricted area of the vehicle, and save the illegal information. If not high-emission vehicles, do not capture the vehicle. For some vehicles did not carry the active tag, through the camera to capture the vehicle directly. And through the license plate recognition technology to identify the license plate information, this information with the high-emission vehicles database to match the query contrast. If by querying the database to confirm the vehicle for high-emission vehicles, by the environmental protection department of the special line, the illegal vehicle information is transmitted to the environmental protection agency, EPA in the identified violations of the vehicle limit line, the illegal information storage, and informs the traffic control departments of vehicle decency punishment.
