Recent years, with energetically promotion of information and intelligent, enterprise resource planning system (ERP) and shop floor control system (SFC) have a great development in equipment manufacturing system, and achieving some effects. But the fault between PMI and SFC, having shortage control on planning and scheduling, quality management and process monitor, will serious restrict the promotion of lean production management. Then, manufacturing execution system (MES) was proposed to collect and share information, enhancing the control of production management.The transformation of market subject makes MES having a fatal weakness in the collecting of real-time and precision information. With the development of RFID technology, the advantages of RFID, such as data storage, automatic identification, etc, make a strong support to data collection system of MES. It has great theory and practical value in researching on the MES combined with RFID using in equipment manufacturing industry.Based on the research of basic principle, architecture, data integration type, data collection system of MES, this paper, firstly, analyses the feature of equipment manufacturing industry production management, advantages and disadvantages of MES; then, proposes the function structure model of equipment manufacturing industry MES using Multi-Agent technology and CORBA principle, and the implementation method is given. This paper deeply research on RFID data collection system, proposes RFID data collection system structure and the model of workshop RFID network planning, and modified genetic algorithm using metropolis rule (MGA) is presented to resolve the problem of reader collision and coverage in RFID network planning, achieving good result. Finally, this paper analyses the special application result of the scheme in S Corporation, gives the implementation method of quality control, planning scheduling, and process monitor in S corporation. It is proved that MES using RFID technology in equipment manufacturing industry have a good theory and practical value and this paper put forward the developing trend in this domain.
