| We live in a time of change. The vigorous development of the Internet is daily refreshing our cognition of the world. More and more fresh things on the Internet are emerging, which could change the way we live, the habits we work, and the thinking mode of us. Actually, big data is one of them. Taking big data method into the research of landscape architecture, also gradually opened up a different perception of the world to the landscape scholars.This study was based on the theory of space syntax and the big data method, which is based on the heatmap of baidu map. The research chose the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University as the research object. In this case, the author used an innovative PS-IPP way to acquire and process the data, which improved the efficiency of study a lot. Besides, this article selected typical working day, rest day and holiday during September to October in 2015 to do the research about the space level, the activity of the population, etc. All the studies are used the big data method and the space syntax. The study found that:(1) In general, the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University has a moderate space level, clear traffic routes and separated campus space. (2) More than 90% of the activities on campus take place in the teaching area, the research area and the living area. The activitiy type in these area determines the users’ mainly active state on campus. (3) The campus landscape space utilization rate is low. (4) By means of artificial management of campus can have some impact on the campus activity. It can be tested both through big data way and the space syntax way. (5) To some degree, the theory of the space syntax can express the designer’s design intention and predict what will happen when this place comes into use. (6) It has commuting2 problems on the campus. (7) This article used the PS-IPP method innovatively. And the PS-IPP mothod has been proved an efficient and correct way in image processing and data batch in campus activities. |
