The article first analyzes the use of the reactor in the power grid, and expounds the classification of reactor. Then compared dry air-core reactor and core reactor, put forward the advantages of dry-type air-core reactor, finally, the reasons of defects in the dry-type air-core reactor turn-to-turn insulation are discussed, through analysis, the feasibility of using impulse-voltage method to test is verified.First of all, under 35kV below test voltage are decided to dry-type air-core reactors in domestic standard, this standard does not provide test voltage to 66kV voltage level. So, the domestic standard is compared with foreign standard in this article, find impulse-voltage method of test voltage and other test voltage between relationship, according to this realationship chosen test voltage to turn-to-turn insulation test of 66kV dry-type air-core reactor.Secondly, this article base on established test voltage and the test parameters requirements design test of each part, contain charging circuit and discharging circuit and measuring circuit. According to design of each part combined formation test circuit. The test circuit is determined, using Matlab and Ansoft software to make sure electrical parameters of each part.Finally, according to the parameters electrical parameters produce control box and equipment of system, according to standard request test. Through contrast test waveform and test phenomenon can draw a conclusion, this test device can satisfy standard requirements and detective effectiveness is vey well.
