Research On Utilization Of Activation Semiotics Vision Industrial Heritage

With the accelerated process of urbanization in Xi’an, The old industry made great contributions to the modernization of the Northwest area before, it is out of the rhythm with the urban renewal and facing a crisis which is being torn down and reconstruction.Before and after the 1990s,Xi’an affected the entire industrial structure adjustment,the Northwest first printing and dyeing textile industry was also dying and collapse,only some industrial plant construction, and infrastructure landscape style were preserved. In this situation, they first formed a Textile City Creative Industry Association by themselves,and hoped to learn in and out abroad to protect the old industrial buildings and reuse successful approach,to protect the industrial heritage within the first dyeing northwest. After that,according to reset the function, modify creative arts and semiotics practical application about the industrial zone, the outside form of the old industrial buildings, mobile architectural remains, and renamed "Banpo International Art District", in order to establish the protected status of the Northwest first printing and dyeing industry old industrial heritage.This article based on the Northwest first printing and dyeing industry, by showing vivid symbol elements, thetextile industry content for the background,the textile, printing and dyeing integrated mode, the Banpo historical and cultural heritages, according to the way of symbolic elements to penetrate into the material life and spiritual life, depth to explore the history, science, art, architecture, social and contemporary value of the old industrial heritages. In order to open up new avenues activate the protection and re-use of industrial heritages, and provide a feasibility study for a variety of common cultural heritage protection,the reasonable and practical solutions for sustainable conservation and reuse of Xi’an landmark heritage.
