Optimization Designof The Shop Layout

With the increasingly fierce market competition in manufacturing, the shop layout becomes one of the most important issues in development of the modern enterprise. How the manufacturing companies effectively configure and use their own resources to improve production efficiency and reduce production costs has become a key problem in the survival and development of the manufacturing companies. Therefore, it is very important that the scientific, reasonable and optimized shop and equipment layout, reasonable handling of workpiece and the handling routine of workpiece for the convenience of the future development and management of the manufacturing enterprise.Based on a lot of home and abroad information, the workshop layout techniques and evaluation methods are elaborated in this thesis. It introduces the concept, classification, domestic & international current situation and development trends of the workshop layout. At the same time, it elaborates main design contents, basic principles, designing methods and evaluation methods of workshop layout, and uses some examples of manufacturing enterprise workshop layout to elaborate the practical application of layout design method in workshop layout. Using analytic hierarchy process and attribute hierarchical model evaluate pre-proposals for several workshops layout, finally it is concluded that the optimization of workshop layout, which providing some reference for the design and evaluation of workshop layout reform of the similar enterprises.
