As a common identification device in industrial production,marking machine plays a more and more important role in production process.The marking machine has been living and working in every corner.In order to adapt to social trends and intelligent, muli-functional automatic continuous marking technology gradually mature and widely used.It makes the marking machine have greater development potential and greater driving force for development in today’s competitive market.In view of the special nature of the steel industry,traditional inkjet marking machine and laser marking machine which was risen in recent years can not be applied in this filed.Marking robot abroad can meet the requirements in function,but because of the special nature of the domestic market,it can not be widely used.In this environment,the research about the hub marking machine has a very vast market.This topic reads a large amount of literature about the marking machine, and the working principle,structure,strength,performance and other aspects was carefully studied.The drive motor in every part,elevator,gear transmission of the new hub marking machine are selected,anslysised,calculated.This hub marking machine is composed by writing mechanism,working platform,lifting mechanism,dust-proof device and auxiliary device.The paper emphatically introduces the hub marking machine in several large pars:marking mechanism,working platform,lifting mechanism. The paper applied AutoCAD software to design structure of the hub marking machine,and the key components were used SolidWorks sofeware for the 3D solid model. Finally, key parts of the hub marking machine were analyzed in the application of finite element software ANSYS Workbench to check these parts whether meet the stiffness,strength requirements in the normal working condition.Finite element anlysis includes static and modal analysis of the rotating axis and rotating platform,the static analysis and improvement scheme of the bracket,the static analysis of the support frame,the strength analysis and modal analysis of the nozzle connection pipe.Finite element anslysis results show that the designment of the components meet the design requirement.It provides the theory support for the reliability of the design scheme,and further verifies practical application properties of the equiment.In the view of the current domestic market for relative lack marking hub equipment,the paper designed a new hub marking machine.It can be very good to achieve the desired function,and it is consistent with the actual situation of the domestic market,it also fill the gaps in the field of the domestic market.The new hub marking maching provids a reference for the subsequent hub marking machine and identification device of the circular workpiece.
