With the rapid development of industrial robot industry, the domestic demand for industrial robots is increasing, As one of the core components of the industrial robot, the reduction of the demand of the Rotate Vector reducer is also increasing rapidly. Under this background, this paper studies the prototype is a listing Corporation, the company invested a lot of human and material resources, independent research and development of the Rotate Vector reducer, and want to achieve mass production. To achieve mass production needs to complete the production layout design of Rotate Vector reducer, it have a greater impact on the quality and production costs of Rotate Vector reducer.In this paper, we study the production layout of the annual output of 10000 Rotate Vector reducer. Firstly, the paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional Layout Planning Systematic(SLP) method, puts forward an improved SLP method, and gives the process of the method. The improved method not only has the characteristics of the traditional SLP method, but also considers the situation of the enterprise, product characteristics and logistics analysis. Secondly, the production and operation of the Rotate Vector reducer is studied. The SLP method is used to produce the two Rotate Vector reducer layout scheme. Combined with the strong subjective and objective method, the two layout scheme is evaluated, and the optimal production layout scheme is obtained. In order to improve the complex material handling and improve the production capacity, Based on the material transfer line of planetary frame group. the key technologies, such as material loading and unloading, transportation automation and production management, are studied. According to the design standard, the relative size of the material conveying line is determined, and the layout plan of the plane layout is determined. Finally, the Em-plant software is used to analyze the simulation results and the rationality of the plane layout scheme is verified.
