G project is a business plan for a deep foundation pit, super high-rise commercial building located in the downtown area of Shanghai, which is a 39 storey tower and a 12 storey wing tower and a 4 storey underground building, with a total construction area of about 162000 square meters. The construction scale is big construction site area is small and construction period is short, the construction of variable construction is difficult, resulting in the work of cross operation, open and high work, construction personnel mobility, labor intensity and other issues, to bring many unsafe factors, the possibility of a serious loss of property, and even endanger the personal safety, project safety management risk is greater, develop effective construction safety control measures is necessary.Engineering construction safety management is the first work to ensure the smooth progress of the project. In this paper, the characteristics of G engineering construction safety management, the use of WBS method for the whole project work structure decomposition, combined with risk management theory, using system safety theory and trajectory theory, the engineering construction process of safety risk and risk assessment, risk identification and risk evaluation, and the proposed construction safety control measures, to reduce the maximum safety hazards and avoid safety accidents, to achieve engineering construction safety management objectives. Through the research on the construction safety control of G project, the effective way of safety control in engineering construction process is explored, which provides a scientific method for the prevention and control of the construction industry.
