A Study Of Environmental Design Of Exhibition Architecture

In recent years, with the development of economy, and the number of exhibition buildings is seeing a surge around the nation.In design of architectur, the industry now has higher standards, which are frequently updated as well. As the society pays more emphasize to environment-friendly and resource-conserving construction, green exhibition architecture has become a major trend, so as to recycle resources, alleviate the burden of environment and extend more information with as few resources as possible.Integrating theory with practice, this paper tries to sort out the essential ideas in exhibition building design.Firstly, this study will be conducted through representative examples of green exhibition buildings, starting from their design background and conditions, and followed by a diversity analysis emphasizing on the structural form that a green exhibition building presents. Elaborating from three dimensions of space, time and technology, the analysis will interpret the core contents of green design theories and technology, so as to hopefully contribute to theoretical research of green design in exhibition buildings in China.Secondly, this paper will dig into the green design formality of exhibition buildings, the application of which is expected to reinforce resource utilization and environmental protection, therefore to realize sustainability of exhibition building. The research will be conducted in five parts:Part 1: Introduction. Starting from background and significance of this paper, this part introduces the research object and methods, frame out the strategies and explain major concepts. This part will also summarize relevant studies both home and abroad, and deliver the framework of this paper.Part 2: The green development track of exhibition buildings. This part will first dig out the origin of exhibition building, make an overview of its development track, and then summarize the development of green exhibition buildings in three dimensions, namely space, time and technology. Apart from that, this part will find out the problems existing in current green exhibition building design.Part 3: current situation of green exhibition building design. This part elaborates current situation of green exhibition building with four examples, which are respectively Hexi Low-Carbon Ecological Museum of Nanjing, Hangzhou Green Architecture Science & Technology Museum, California Academy of Science in United States and Eden Project of Britain. The analysis will help sort out the green design concept and summary of technology of the four examples.Part 4: environmental design of exhibition building. Based on current development situation of exhibition building, this part will probe into the environmental approach of exhibition building design, which will be delivered in dimension of layout, space and technology, so as to realize sustainable use of exhibition building.Part 5: conclusion. Summarize the whole study, put forward the innovation points, and propose an outlook of future study.
