With the rapid development of the economy in our country, various financial businesses have been flourishing. As a special kind of architecture type, bank building is in a growing demand for construction. How to solve the problems of the financial needs of the bank buildings as well as the special security issue becomes an important research question in the design of a bank building. As for the issue of bank building design, this study makes its own summarization of the function construction and line organization of the bank building, referring to relative bank building cases at home and abroad. Modern banks usually include the business hall and its affiliated office area, bank vault, the safe library, inner office area, conference area, dinning area and so on. They also include streamline system such as consumer flow in the business hall and the safe library, office staff streamline in the business hall, inner office area, bank vault and the safe library, and also logistic service flow. We will apply the above summarization into our design.The building in this study is to be located in the east part of business recreational area (axis) on Wei jiu Road in the new urban district of He xi in Nanjing, close to the central business district and next to the central park. It is an important location in the area with preferred features of the new urban district, therefore, master planning requires that the building to be built here should be super high,and the height of the building can not be below two hundred meters. Thus the design method and experience of super high-rise buildings become another important issue. In terms of the issue of the design of super high-rise buildings, this study reorganizes and summarizes part of the knowledge and experience in the design of such buildings, including the arrangement of the tower and podium building of high-rise buildings, the design of its typical floor and core body, fire protection rules of high-rise buildings, the design of underground garage as well as body and style design. Likewise, we will apply this summarization into our design.As a new design trend after the post-modernism, parametric design is being learned and explored by the academic scholars in the field of architecture, and has been applied into practice by the world famous architectural firms like SOM and GENSLER. In our country, this new kind of architecture design method is also constantly being explored and applied into practice. Examples are like the Shanghai Center and Tianjin Sino-steel international building, to name a few, some of which is still being built and others has been completed. In this study, the application of Parametric design method in building surface design bring new chances for innovation in architecture design. The method of parametric design of building surface is the third research question in this study. Considering the issue of parametric design, this study makes a deep and systematic analysis of cases like Sino-steel international building. We make it clear about the application logic of parametric design in these cases, the technical method in realizing the architectural concept and the construction method of facade production. And we also propose some innovative fruits to the issue of parametric design by the designer’s practice.The thesis investigates organization method of the functions and streamline of bank buildings, the arrangement of the tower and podium building of high-rise buildings, the graphic design of typical floor and the method of parametric design of building surface. We have summarized its features and put forward a design method for this project.The content and structure of the study is as follows. The first chapter is a general picture of the project. It mainly elaborates the basic condition, zone bit and the condition of the base of the project, analyses the condition of planning and design and also the requirement for design, and puts forward the basic question of the design. The second chapter is case analysis. By analyzing the relative project cases, the study summarized the initiative operation method for an architect as a reference for our design. The third chapter is site planning, including a comparison of various cases in terms of the arrangement of the tower and podium building, district division by different functions, transport, the flow line and traffic line, fire evacuation organization, vertical design and so on. The fourth chapter is about the monomer building design. This part elaborates the function composition, function division, space organization line organization at the entrance and exit as well as the modeling and the facade design. The final part is a presentation of the technical drawings.
