Building Information Modeling(BIM)is based on the relevant information data of the construction project.It simulates the real information of the building through digital information simulation,and establishes three-dimensional building model through relevant software to realize the functions of Engineering design,construction and management.BIM is another important technology to promote information revolution in construction industry after computer aided design(CAD).With the continuous development of social economy and science and technology level in China,the scale and functional requirements of super high-rise buildings are changing constantly,which makes the complexity of architectural design constantly increasing.Traditional twodimensional CAD design methods are easy to appear drawings errors,collaborative design is difficult to achieve,collision problems are difficult to find,communication and coordination between parties,and statistical difficulties of Engineering quantity,etc.The engineering project brings many inconveniences,and BIM technology can solve these problems well.This paper mainly introduces the development status of BIM at home and abroad,the meaning and characteristics of BIM,the problems of traditional CAD design,the process of BIM design,the advantages of BIM in architectural design,and the commonly used software of BIM.Combined with engineering examples,BIM technology is applied in the design of super high-rise buildings,and parametric design and building visualization are realized by establishing BIM models of various specialties;design management efficiency is improved by collaborative design of various specialties;collision problems are found in advance by collision inspection,and space collision conflicts are solved by design optimization;steel structure is deepened to realize steel knots.Composition drawings output accurately and component statistics;through the deepening design of structural steel bars,the collision inspection of complex joints of steel bars and the accurate calculation of the length of steel bars are realized;through the output of two-dimensional construction drawings by the model,the efficiency and accuracy of drawings are improved;and through the automatic generation of the bill of quantities,the calculation efficiency and accuracy are improved.At the same time,this paper establishes the steel structure model through the BIM core modeling software Revit,imports the finite element analysis software Midas Gen through the software model interface,and studies the safety of steel structure design through the finite element calculation.The first twelve natural frequencies and corresponding modes of the structure are obtained by modal analysis.The stress and displacement of the structure under horizontal earthquake are obtained by response spectrum analysis.The above calculation results are analyzed according to the code.
