Study On The Universal Design Of Self-service Equipment In Rail Transportation

Along with social progress,self-service facilities have been widely applied to the public.And rail transit self-service equipment has become closely linked with people’s lives.Compared to other kinds of products,the rail transit environment is relatively complex,the users are diverse.And users often have different problems in the process of operation.Therefore, to the users of different physical ability, the use of the fairness of the is particularly important.Universal design is a “people-oriented”design idea and method.It has specified the users and paid attention to the demands of users with different characters.By this,it has achieved the universal care.Based on this,this paper focuses on the universal design of self-service equipment in rail transportation.Through the case analysis,we can get the functional characteristics and design elements of the rail transit self-service equipment.And then Based on the research on universal design of self-service equipment in rail transportation,We get the users pyramid of rail transit self-service equipment, user characteristics and user needs.Through mathematical operation, combined with the priority of the general design method,, it is concluded that rail transit self-service equipment general feature priorities.Finally,we get project check list of rail transit self-service equipment 。It provides universal design evaluation standard, in order to improve design efficiency, and achieve the goal of the universal care.
