Preliminary Study On The Residential Waterscape Design Based On Sustainable Development In The Pearl River Delta

In this paper, from the viewpoint of sustainable development，we’ll have a preliminarystudy and discussion on issue related to waterscape’s planning and design for urbanresidential landscape (especially the Pearl River Delta region, residential landscapewaterscape).waterscape processing forms、water energy saving treatment、 water balance、and related technologies will be have a preliminary study and discussion too.This paper analyzes the historical origins of the waterscape、waterscape research statusat domestic and international. Starting from the function of the waterscape in the gardenlandscaping, This paper made simple exposition about water features/characteristics/thefunction of waterscapein landscaping and ecological functions. This paper introduces theapplication type、application forms、application statusof waterscape of the residential areas，and its far-reaching implications. Based on my personal experience and understanding fromworking in the real estate companies all these years，this paper simply investigate the typeand development of waterscape for real estate. Also point out some of the exist problems intoday’s real estate waterscape design just like the too large water area、the difficult of thewater conservation and the more serious formalization of design. Also discussed a seriousproblems when we are meeting the the visual and immediate effects, such as we ignoredthe connotation of waterscape, ignore the integration of the waterscape the and itssurrounding environment, ignore the diversity and the economic practicality of thewaterscape space, overlook the landscape water imperfect system, and failed to pay attentionto the water cycle use. Based on all above，this paper put forward the concept of waterscapedesign the residential area.the waterscape should be integrate with the surroundingenvironment, the waterscape should pay attention to the space design diversity、the use of avariety of water、 water recyclingand the waterscape ecological Bank Revetment、thecombination of waterscape and other garden elements。Should to pay attention on themaintenance and repair waterscape when we are creating waterscape. Also discuss andresearch rainwater harvesting, reclaimed water, strengthening the venue penetration. Thispaper analyze the methods of how to create the residential area waterscape,by the instancesof landscape waterscape design in parts of the project in the Pearl River Delta.From this, thispaper hope to attracting valuable opinions, and finding a better way to solve the problem ofresidential area waterscape，and creating the most suitable for the neighborhood environment.Overall, the residential area waterscape design should pay attention to creating theaesthetics feeling.
