Research On Development Mechanism Of Nanjing Tech University Jiangpu Campus

As a product and the important material carrier of the great development of China’s higher education, the university’s new campus, which has experienced a period of rapid development after more than ten years, is changing to the smooth-upgrade period, that changing to connotative development from extensive expansion development. By selecting Nanjing Tech University Jiangpu Campus as the research object, this paper is to answer "why development" and "how to develop" problems of the university’s new campus by researching the development mechanism of the university’s new campus, thus exploring new campus dynamic factors and development model in the development process, and bring the reference value to the development of Nanjing Tech University and other similar universities.At first, this paper defined the object of research, summarized theoretical studies of campus planning and development, conducted a brief summary overview of the development of the new campus of China. According to the initial stage, the growth stage and the stable stage, the paper set development background, development process and development achievement as entry points to conduct a comprehensive review of campus development, summarized the completion of Nanjing Tech University Jiangpu Campus by built features, situation problems, differences between planning and development and their causes. Then the paper started the research on development mechanism of Jiangpu Campus by dynamic factors of development and development model. On this basis, the paper puts forward five points of the future development of Jiangpu Campus, and extends suggestions for the future development of the new campus in China. Finally, the paper gives conclusion and outlook, summed the shortcomings, and hoped that this study can be further improved by the future studies.
