In many aspects provided by the power supply enterprise, such as power transmission, substation and distribution, the line loss management is one of the most important indicators and its technology and management reflect the multi-disciplinary level of network planning, production control and marketing management of the power supply enterprise. But, the way of management has been relatively passive and there must be a summary analysis report gathering large amounts of data within a cycle before the analysis of the problems, which can’t find the defects in the line loss management timely. With the implementation of a series of objectives to build "strong and excellent" modern enterprise proposed by the State Grid Corporation, it puts forward higher requirements for the intelligent management level of the power supply enterprises, especially for the grassroots county-level city companies. In recent years, the State Grid Corporation LinQing power company develops in the direction of intelligentization and informatization in aspects of marketing and production and adopts more scientific management methods to carry out comprehensive managements.The electric information acquisition system is a kind of system which adopts the modern digital communication technology and computer hardware and software technology to collect the classified usage data and process inductively by the wireless transmission. It can realize the real-time automatic transmission of the information of the power lines and on-site electrical equipments, the power anomaly detection, and other electrical analysis and management and provide technical supports to improve the marketing production management level of the power supply enterprises. Install the electric information acquisition system in the substation and realize the line loss anomaly detection through the interactive data analysis. And then, combine dispatching automation system, MIS and PMS, and determine the main reason for the lift line loss and reduce losses by taking appropriate technical and management measures. Through the refinement links, process control and strict examination, we can improve the timeliness and comprehensiveness of line loss management greatly. The electric information acquisition system can provide reliable decision basis and management tools for marketing management, and meet the requirements of future production and operation management.At present, my company operates 15168 sets of electricity information acquisition terminal equipments and has realized the full coverage of substations and users. Since the work has carried out for three years, the company’s comprehensive line loss has decreased 5.61% and the direct economic benefit is more than 80 million yuan. The metering equipment and transformer fault events have reduced more than 60 times per year on average. In 2014 year, two 35kV line pressure loss events and three 10kV electricity stealing events have been discovered timely by monitoring of electricity information acquisition terminal equipments and recovered more than 20 million yuan electricity loss for the company. The line loss management based on the electric energy data acquisition system is in line with the company requirements about the smart grid development, and promotes the transformation of traditional artificial management. It provides not only a more powerful safeguard for the company economic interests, but also a strong support for the company’s intelligent management for the marketing and production.This paper takes LinQing power supply company as an example. The management status of line loss is analyzed, and the real-time monitor function of the electricity information collection system in the management of line loss is introduced in brief at first; Then this paper describes the labor division of relevant departments and the design of the related process in the electricity information collection system used in line loss management of LinQing power supply company, in particular the key and innovative link of the important related process design; The index of line loss, the setting, labor division and indicators of performance appraisal departments are introduced respectively; This paper describes the line loss analysis indicators and typical instances after utilizing this system at length in the end; The enterprise benefit of LinQing power supply company by the electricity information collection system and the prospect of future development is introduced.
