Nowadays,more and more complex and harsh battlefield environment and deepening applications of information technology in the military field have raised more requirements for the development of the rugged computer,electromagnetic-reinforcing properties of the military computer are also facing much deeper challenges.Particularly,it is the current urgent issue that how to drop the radiation of the electronic devices while improving the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC).Currently,the rugged portable computers play an important role in the military equipments of our country. Studying and designing the rugged portable computer with low radiation is the important project in my institution.In response to the requirements of improving the EMC performance,the XTX modules as the core of the system,the extended circuit board,and the rational planning of the mainboard circuit outline were utilized,which can avoid a series of issues due to using electronic cards.These Procedures combined with the use of the reinforcing design methods ensure the reliability of the computer in both the electric and the structure sections,In the section of restraining the radiation of the mainboard of computer,I have performed the following study and practice:taking advantage of the traditional shielding technology and combining the signal integrity(SI),the power integrity (PI),the spread spectrum clock generation(SSCG),and other new technology to restrain electromagnetic radiation from the source. Through these procedures,we can improve the electromagnetic compatibility of the computer and prevent electromagnetic leakage to ensure the high security of the system.High reliability and availability in all kinds of harsh environments are the critical requirements in the work.The reliability design was fully considered during the whole design process.In addition,various functional and electromagnetic radiation tests as well as simulation analysis of the rugged computer were also carried out.
