With the rapid economic development and continuous improvement of people’s living standards has led to urban scale expansion and urbanization, the car at a faster paceinto the daily lives of residents,as an important start and end point of private cars, parking problems have become increasingly prominent settlements.The papersummarized and analyzed the literature about residential parking space research in recent years, combed the parking space research results, through the situation survey, analyzed the problems of residential parking space, and combined theelements of space vitality nature, explains the meaning of the vitality of the parking space.On this basis, the paper proposes three measures to solutions the residential parking space vitality.First,through the user-friendly design to enhance the vitality of residential parking spaces, mainly from the scale, function, landscaping, art, and security perspective demonstration.Second, through the intelligent management to enhance the vitality of residential parking spaces, from the management status of the current cell in our country, combine with the new era of information technology to improve the operation and management of residential parking.The third, through the ecological approach to enhance the vitality of residential parking spaces, meet the ecological and energy requirements of the settlements, achieve a harmonious coexistence of people, vehicles and the environment.The paper is from the perspective of the vitality of nature, explore more effective, less damage, less waste, and sustainable construction methods of high-tech, and also explore having intimacy, humane, ecological, scientific, modern urban settlements strong vested parking space construction mode.It has theoretical and practical value to design the parking space for residential.
