As a product of construction industry informatization, the research and application of BIM technology has reached a certain level, but the current research situation of BIM standard is restricting its further development. Types of the research on BIM standardization are numerous, the key technology of the BIM standardization from the perspective ofcomponent is studied in this paper and tries to organically combine the national BIM standardization framework and the application of BIM specification, providing a new idea for the research on BIM standardization.Based on the research of domestic and international status quo of BIM standardization, the key technology of BIM standardization is studied in this paper, using the Revit software as the research platform and BIM component as the research object. Through making standardized rules in external environment and internal attributes of BIM component, and the realization and application of BIM component standardization in the engineering case, the basic system framework of BIM component standardization is built and some achievements are obtained in this paper.In the external platform environment standardization of BIM component, some advices are provided in this paper, including building software platform environment, human resources environment, BIM policy environment andtechnical specifications requirements, and these work can effectively ensure the unified establishment environment of BIM component; in the internal information attributes standardization of BIM component, other advices are provided in this paper, including BIM component library creation and management, component classification coding and naming, information grade division of component and information model creation of compent, and these work can effectively ensure the unified information attributes of BIM component.BIM standardization application project of Ningxia Yinchuan Xinhualian Hotel is selected as engineering case and the typical standardization recommendations of external environment and internal attributes of BIM component are realized in this paper, basically completing the realization of BIM component standardization; at the same time, with the quantity statistics of BIM component as the application object, the research contrasts statistical results before and after component standardization, further implementing the engineering application of BIM component standardization. Finally, the summary and outlook of the research achievements of BIM component standardization are made in this paper, hoping to provide reference for the further research of BIM standardization.
