Post Occupancy Evaluation Of Guangzhou City Plaza

After the 2010 Asian Games city foundation design and environmental construction of eight projects in Guangzhou, the type and structure of the public open space of major changes have taken place. It has had a major impact on the daily lives of the people of Guangzhou, which about the way of communication, entertainment and leisure. This study will be from the residents use of perspective, discuss if the public space of Guangzhou City Plaza can meet the use of city life and needs by using research methods of POE, probe into the design of Guangzhou City Plaza itself and put forward the suggestion and countermeasures to solve the existing problems. And it will apply the POE method situation in the future design of guiding significance and application.The theme of this paper is the three part:The first part is the first, two chapters, mainly discusses the domestic and foreign development of city public space and the problems, and the POE method of the research situation at home and abroad, in order to lay the foundation for the research of Guangzhou City plaza.The second part is the third chapter content, through combing the formation and development of Guangzhou city public space, comparing the differences between the new city public space and city space in Guangzhou city the past.The third part is the fourth chapter, fifth chapters and the conclusion part, study on the evaluation mainly through the use of Guangzhou City Plaza, explore the problems existing at present, and through the analysis of data and information and put forward the improvement suggestions.
