Servo control, also called follow-up control, is a kind of system to make the control object follow the instruction, which is now widely used in various fields,. servo control is increasingly and widely used, and that it has been extensively studied at the same time also benefits from the development of servo devices such as servo motor. For now, there’re more and more requirements for servo control with time being, not only stability, but also fast, versatility, and human-computer interaction. The development of digital controller DSP is adapted to this situation.AS the development trends of servo system is so fast, this paper presents a software design method based on a set of DSP position servo system. The design uses DSP and Labview, and takes advantage of the excellent performance of DSP and the human interface of Labview, which could make it a fast,stable,diverse and easy human-computer interaction servo control system.First, the system theory and composition were analyzed. With the needs of a domestic Institute, it established a control method. Also it summarized the hardware design based on the existing hardware systems, and proposed a overall program design plan, including the overall programs of DSP and PC interface overall program design.Secondly, according to the overall program of determined DSP software design, it designed the function module of program. the function module program designed based on TMS320F6713 as the core controller program, and designed RS422 communication interface module, and also included protocol frame design, PID control algorithm software implementation, and implementation of the CRC.Then, according to the host interface design program designed PC interface, which is also the man-machine interface. With the use of producer-consumer architecture for serial communication and human-computer interaction, it designed to resolve state machine receiving the data show, completed RS422 serial port communications.Finally, the system needed to be debug and integrated. Test the required functionality of design and add fault testing to achieve a fast, convenient and stable servo control system. This paper presents the test results to verify the accuracy and reliability of the design.
