With the rapid development of aviation industry and its property, more and more various types of large aircraft have been created and put into use. The different performances of the aircraft will be completely displayed only if the aircrafts’ security is good. The safety of the aircraft is the main symbol of judging the aircrafts’ performance. To make the aircraft be more and more safe, the damper has been used in the aircraft’s operation lever to improve its controllability, balance and flexibility, which improve the stationarity of aircraft effectively. The developed aircraft can show its good performance.The operation process of aircraft joystick is affected directly by the size of the performance parameters, so measuring the performance parameter of damper has a very important significance to improve the controllability of joystick and enhance the aircraft’s security. At present, the testing system’s efficiency, reliability and degree of automation is too poor. In view of this situation, the design pattern of distributed is presented. The measuring system has high efficiency and high precision, and the result of the research has very important academic value and practical value in engineering.Based on the analysis of system functions and requirements, testing principle of performance parameters and technical parameters of damper, the overall design of this system is performed. The system is designed to be a distributed control and testing system based on IPC, PCI standard board and intelligent instrument. Then the measurement and control system’s composition and function is designed, and the electrical servo system is also designed and analyzed. And on that basis, the hardware and software of the control system is designed based on the analysis of the whole measuring system. In order to control servo motor accurately by servo drive and control board, the resistance integral saturation PI control algorithm is put forward after the analysis of control strategy. To realize monitoring the state of the whole system, damper’s speed and torque and the damper parameter display, analysis and storage, the program is designed in the Lab VIEW development platform. Finally, on the foundation of building the system, it is debugged to ensure its reliability and functional integrity by testing damper’s performance parameter.The results show that the damper performance measuring system has the following advantages: high automation, stable performance, good anti-jamming, high precision, friendly software interface, convenient control and excellent efficiency. The system can fully meet the requirement of the damper performance testing. The research contents and achievements of this thesis have a certain engineering value and application value in other components’ measurement in aviation industry.
