As the modern transportation infrastructure, highway occupies a very important position in the trip of public golden week in our country with its outstanding features of powerful traffic capacity, high running speed and safety. With the implement of the car’s free policy, during the period of annual golden week, all the highways of our country appear the problem of traffic congestion, not only brings great inconvenience to our country’s golden week trip, but also causes huge casualties and social economic losses, seriously impacts on the sustainable development of our country’s golden week economy and highway traffic system. Therefore, how to cope with the traffic congestion problem of golden week and put forward perfect and scientific traffic congestion countermeasure, is the urgent research problem at present.For the research on the traffic congestion countermeasure of highway golden week, the article mainly involves the contents following:Firstly, the thesis concludes specific measures taken by foreign developed countries to solve traffic congestion of highways during holidays. Meanwhile, it concludes current research status of China about the traffic congestion of highways during the golden week and analyzes disadvantages of current researches in China.Secondly, the thesis, through the research on traffic census in highway during golden week, analyzed the distribution character of traffic flow in time, space and trip mode. Meanwhile, on this basis, it summarized the status quo of traffic congestion.Besides, in the thesis, the cause of traffic congestion of highway during golden week is comprehensively analyzed, indicating the overfull traffic demand resulted by the implementation of free policy is the main cause of congestion; also, it carried out evaluation analysis for traffic congestion countermeasure of various highways, indicating the congestion pricing is the countermeasure against traffic congestion under the great traffic demand in China during golden week.Finally, According to the theory of traffic congestion pricing, the thesis proposed a new free policy to adjust the existing free policy which charges for mini-car and is free for motor buses during congestion from the perspective of relieving traffic congestion in Chinese highways during golden week. On the basis of the new free policy, the dynamic congestion pricing model is established and a transportation network is simulated for the analysis of examples to research the mitigation effect of new free policy on traffic congestion. |
