With the development of society, the pursue of the construction of campus buildings gradually changes from “functional practicality” to “spiritual culture”. As one of the important members of Expo building,the expo construction as a college campus culture, and education and dissemination of knowledge base gradually been paid great attention in domestic universities. A large number of new Universities Expo buildings have sprung up in various institutions of higher learning, and serve for the campus and the cities. So the design of Exhibition Architecture of Universities facing the integration of the environment, the needs of teachers and students, and campus conduct activities are becoming increasingly urgent.This paper presents the concept of university Expo building transitional space, to discuss the open space transition, integration and other issues for university Expo building and campus environment, and expects through a large number of actual case analytical and research on the expo architectural transition space characteristics, form and design factors in-depth research analysis, sorting and induce targeted expo architectural transition space design target and design key points of colleges and universities In order to help more space of the whole reading experience of the expo construction of colleges and universities, and better in the campus environment, carrying on campus behavior culture. finally Article through the engineering practice analyze of the postgraduate stage, SJTU university li-zhen-dao library(museum) transition space of the pavilion design, clarify mentioned above the expo architectural transition space design theory in the practical application in practical engineering.I Hope that through this paper’s research and analysis,I can make architectural designers in the design of the expo, pay more attention to building background and demand from teachers and students in campus environment, rather than stand-alone building main body culture performance.
