The Design Strategy Of University Stormproof Playground Based On The Applicability

As a traditional type of university sports architecture, stormproof playground have the characteristics of small scale, short construction period and high efficienc y. At the beginning of the development of sports in universities, because of its w ide applicability, stormproof playground gets a lot of construction in colleges and universities. In the new period of development, too much construction of huge gy mnasiums and stadiums have caused fiscal burden and waste of resources, affecte d the healthy development of university sports. In such cases, if the stormproof p layground, which is mainly used to meet the university sports teaching and cam pus activities still has good applicability in this period, how to improve the appli cability of the stormproof playground to meet the needs and promote the healthy development of universities, are the key problem discussed in this paper.Firstly, this paper classifies indoor sports facilities in universities, to make a clear definition of the stormproof playground. Secondly, introduced the stormproof playground’s evolution and researching data of indoor sports facilities in universit ies, strengthening the overall understanding of the stormproof playground. Then,p aper introduces stormproof playgrounds’ development situation and the reason an alysis, points out that standard indicators lag, lack of prophase planning, the lack of construction funds and the influence of the subjective consciousness of comm ons led to the insufficient of stormproof playgrounds’ development.In this paper, the applicability of the stormproof playground of universities c an be divided into the applicability of the economy, the applicability of the space layout, function configuration of applicability and the applicability of the manage ment operation. Economic applicability determine whether the stormproof playgrou nd can get capital support; The applicability of the special layout is mainly aime d at the convenience in servicing campus and surrounding communities, as well a s the aspect of building campus environment. Applicability of function configurati on mainly refers to the ability to meet the needs of all kinds of the campus acti vities; the applicability of the management operating mainly refers to whether themanagement operation of stormproof playground can reach the requirement of su rrounding society and universities. In the process of design, advantages and disad vantages of applicability in stormproof playground should be treated correctly, targ eting to the advantages and making up the shortfall. Reference to other types of universities sports venues and social gymnasiums can play a promoting role in th e development of stormproof playground. Based on the large number of project p ractice experience and the research on the various universities sports venues, this paper put forward some design strategies according to the applicability of stormpr oof playground, and hopes this strategies could make certain guidance for the con struction of stormproof playground in the new era.
