Influence Of Subjective And Objective Factors On Soundscape Evaluations Of The Shenzhen Oct Ecological Square

With China’s economic and social development, urban noise problem is more and more outstanding, but only contral the sound level is not enough. except the sound level of noise,there are many subjective and objective factors influence on the sound environment quality.Therefore, Canada R.M urray Schafer proposed the concept of soundscape, regard sound in the city is not only exists in the form of noise, but a sound environment. More precisely, is a kind of landscape made up of the sound source, space and people. Therefore,we should use soundscape concept to guide the sound environment in urban construction.OCT Ecological Square is a famous place which beloved by the residents nearby.But some research show that the sound environment here is not that good. Both good and bad aspects are found in the soundscape of OCT Ecological Square,soundscape quality differs from the subjective and objective factors,and it’s worth to do some research. To this end, this thesis aimed at oct ecological square, the reaction of good community public space conducted field research, affecting the oct ecological square, scene of subjective and objective affecting factors are analyzed, for the future development of oct ecological square to do fundamental research at the same time, also for the similar community planning and design of the square in acoustic environmental improvements to provide some reference and reference.To capture the status of the soundscape in OCT Ecological Square, questionnaires are used for subjective evaluation, and environment sound records are made, use sound quality analysis software to do some analysis, and influence of subjective and objective factors are studied. Three parts are included, first is the sound meaning of OCT Ecological Square and its layout, quietness and sound scene comfortness, and the character of user; second is the sound meaning, nature, live or mechanical and it’s ratio, sound level such as Leq, L10, L50, L90, as well as loudness, sharpness and the roughness, studied the objective factors of soundscape effect and the influence of subjective evaluation; Third is users’ gender, age, occupation and education background and living environment analysis of the social background factors, and activities, including activities frequency, time, the analysis of the subjective elements of the ecological square landscape effect and the influence of subjective evaluation.
