Research On Green Space Design Of Campuse Based On Place-making Theory

Campus environment is the carrier of campus culture,it’s belong to the domina nt culture of the campus. Green space as an important part of campus environment, I t not only has an important role in greening and beautifying the campus, creating ec ological environment on campus.It also has to reflect some kind of educational valu es,and it will impact on student’s quality education imperceptibly.It can be seen that training of personnel can not escape from the environment construction.It’s important that creating an elegant environment for teachers and students,with a strong learning at atmosphere of the campus green space.In this paper, the green space of the university campus as a starting point,aims at using place-making as a research perspective,and use the practical research 、case studies and other methods, make a exploratory study and design pract ices on the campus green space.Paper research content is divided into three parts: The first part---give the questions.First, with a basic grasp of the current environment of campus construction and development, needs of teachers and students, and the status of the campus environment.Combined relevant research results at home and aboard, bring forward the main contents of this article,sorting out the research frame work.The second part---analysis problems: through analyses the connotation of place-making, summed up the places including space, spirit and people. Use the view to carry out research on the place-making of campus green space,respectively analyzed the relationship between the Space exists and campus green space, place spirit and campus green space, perceptual experience and campus green space.And then through the concrete analysis of theory of actual case analysis,and summarizes the design method of green space place-making.The third part---solve the problems.by the research of the first two parts, use the new campus green space of Zhejiang technology university as a practical design case, proposed guidelines and design principles to create green space,work out a specific method to create a green space. So as to solve the lack of campus green space and lack of humanistic spirit communication space and other issues.This paper explore the design of university campus green space construction to the construction of the campus environment has certain practical significance, the a uthor to discard most of the campus landscape design routines, trying to create a pla ce with a combination of green space research, in order to avoid the camp’s green sp ace lost space,To reflect the spirit of the campus to meet the needs of teachers and st udents as a basic principle, fully functional utility of green space, creating a vibrant,cultural connotation of green space, making it truly become a university outdoor classroom.
