Modern brain science shows that the age of 0-3 years is a critical period of human growth and development of the brain and nervous system, and is the basis for the positive development of the late capabilities including language, physical, artistic, social interaction and learning ability. With the theory of early education innovating and deepening, the early education on infants of 0-3 years old hasaroused worldwide concern,Early Learning Centre came into being. Since the Early Learning Center multi-founded by private institutions and have not been included in the national public education system, there is no regulatory authorities responsible for the quality of their teaching and management situation is worrying. Theoretical study of the space environment in and abroad for Early Learning Centre lags behind practice, early childhood center space environment quality varies greatly, directly affects the infant’s mental state and learning ability.This paper develops with this background, and takes Montessori education system as the theory guide. According to the users’(infants and their parents) demand for space environment, the article learns excellent kindergartens and other early childhood building type of practice cases, and takes into account the differences between them, and proposes specific design countermeasures.First, this paper combines field research with surveys, summarizes the widespread problem in terms of the creation of the space environment, then proposes Early Learning Center Design Strategy as a direction to remedy. Secondly, from the point of view of the infants, combined with its specific physiological and psychological needs characteristics and potential development, analyzes its space environment needs; again from the perspective of parents, induction adapt parents and infants, other interactions between parents and teachers space environment needs. After combining the two types of demand the paper summed up the four design principles of Early Learning Center: principle of making infants as the starting point, game principle of creating kinds of experiences, principle of stimulating children’s self-communication which aimed at infants and young children and the interactivity principle of promoting emotional development, which aimed at parents concerned. Finally, according to Montessori educational theory and the specific design principles the paper put forward the design countermeasures of Early Learning Center, and the specific design countermeasures provides theoretical basis for the construction of high-quality early childhood center space environment. |
