This thesis Based on the history of immigrants, also as a frame work, carding development evolution of ba-yu region residence form, study complex conditions under the influence of the change of the shape of traditional residence in ba-yu. Chapter Three analyze the shape of dwellings which before the Ming and Qing dynasty in the Bayu region by study ways of Archaeology andiconology.The fourth chapter first of all, The fourth chapter first of all, begin with dividing Ming and qing dynasty of traditional architecture classification to Pile dwelling, Houses on stilts and grounding dwelling, whih is divided by grounding method, following subdivision them to living building, store house and defensive buildings. Then roughly analyzed the distribution of several typical Bayu dwellings.At last, summarize basic form of Bayu dwellings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties from plan, elevation and frame. The fifth chapter is a brief introduction of the residential type of the immigrants subgroup in Chongqing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, combined with the immigration subgroup and its influence range of Chongqing, the author had finished a sampling survey of the typical type of traditional residence, in northeast, east, southeast, west and main area of Chongqing, following a Contrastive Analysis with typical type of residence in its Cradle or the cultural area nearby.
