In machinery and equipment manufacturing industry, on one hand,diesel engine acts as the core component of manufacturing equipment so that the manufacturing equipment production efficiency depends on the efficiency of diesel engine in a large extent. On the other hand the production efficiency of diesel engine depends on the assembly efficiency of diesel engine in a large extent. In the diesel engine assembly line, the workers need to carry out a variety of angles flipping engine to install and debug components, while the engine is often cumbersome and fragile. The birth of rotary machine greatly improved production efficiency and reduced labor intensity of workers so that he community has created numerous wealth for it.In the engine assembly process, the purpose of the reversing machine is to facilitate assembly of turnover in the engine environment flip. Engine assembly operations workload and need frequent assembly and inspection so that this process requires the engine to flip operation, which resulted in this issue: the design of reversing machine for engine assembly line. This study aimed to design a machine and equipment which can easily, safely and quickly flip the assembled engine in order to effectively reduce the cost of the engine assembly, the assembly process of saving the human machine force, improving production efficiency.The article analysises the characteristics of the engine assembly line, assembly process and the basis of the current market reversal characteristics of the machine. Based an it, so design and manufacture an engine assembly line for reversing machine. The device has two parts for machine and electricity.It has many advantages including a small footprint, low material loss, high efficiency and safety performance flip. The results showed that: the device is technically feasible, reasonable design, precise and reliable operation, and application value.First, it analyzed the status of the engine assembly line, structural features, assembly process and during assembly and abroad existing dumpers characteristics. According to the objectives and requirements of the engine assembly,it determines the overall program and program line, providing the basis for the structural design of the device. Combined with extensive literature research and the three-dimensional Inventor software, we designed a set of engine assembly line for reversing machine devices independently. The apparatus includes a support platform, clamping devices, three-phase asynchronous motors, and electrical control systems.Secondly, it uses of the inverter to control the operation of the entire inversion process design according to the mechanism flips and system control requirements including reversing control section, long move and jog control section, in order to ensure the operation of dumpers device stable and reliable through the use of modified new energy feedback inverter to control the whole roll process design from the perspective of energy saving.Finally, it uses Ansys finite element analysis software to analysis the critical parts of the device to improve key parts defect stiffness, strength, stability, service life and weight requirements, as well as compensation for part of the process.
