In recent years, with the sustained growth of Chinese economics, the automobile industry has been developed rapidly. The number of cars in large and medium-sized cities continues to increase, and the number of cars in small cities and rural areas is also increasing rapidly. The cars bring people great convenience, but also bring a lot of problems. Among them, the accidents caused by reversing cars are increasing year by year. For solving these problems, the vehicle reversing systems come with the tide of fashion. The vehicle reversing systems can help the driver to overcome the visual blind spot, improve the safety of reversing car effectively, and help the driver to carry out the safe driving further.The traditional vehicle reversing system needs an independent LCD microprocessor on the vehicle system, and the camera must have the reversing track line function, so it has high hardware cost. Because the traditional reversing system is almost based on pure hardware architecture, it is required to change the hardware if it needs to add some new features, and it has poor expansibility. According the shortage of the traditional reversing system, this paper puts forward a kind of vehicle system of pure software implementation based on Android, this system is combined with the vehicle digital platform and omits the independent LCD microprocessor by using an ordinary camera to realize the reversing track line function with lower hardware cost. By using the scalability of the vehicle digital platform and combinig the revising images and the revising track lines with the revisng radar, it can provide the more intuitive visual perception, distance perception and navigation function for the drivers, and it greatly improves the practicability, security and scalability of the vehicle reversing system.Compared with traditional vehicle reversing system, this system optimizes the Linux kernel booting time, make the reversing system start quickly, enhance the users’ experience, and provide more efficient service. In addition, this system uses the virtual Framebuffer technology to output the reversing image and reversing track line. the virtual framebuffer technology is a kind of pure software implementation, it has the good extensibility and omits the independent visualization chip, so it reduces the hardware cost of the whole system.
