The health monitoring and conservation research of ancient architectural is not only provide the tools of qualitative and quantitative analysis of ancient architecture’s preventive protection,but also the important parts of the ancient architectural heritage management.According to the world heritage committee and the government for the requirements of world cultural heritage monitoring,the health monitoring and protection of ancient architectural is imperative.In this paper,by the way of fieldwork,research and project practice,Initially identified the content of monitoring targets and monitoring framework for the Linqing segment for Grand Canal Ancient architectural realities,and formed a technical thought of promoting monitoring project.In this paper, damaged surface monitoring combining with internal structure detection are used in current situation of the monitoring in Linqing canal Chao Guan, above all through field investigation analysis of the specific conditions of the surface damage and damage factors, get the damage investigation report of surface damage survey of Linqing canal Chao Guan, then through the introduction of advanced equipment, on the internal characteristics and the overall characteristics of monitoring, analysis of the internal structure in accordance with the relevant national standards, finally on the basis of the combination analysis of the causes of damage of ancient buildings, and according to the specific reasons, proposed strengthening protection solution to Linqing Canal Chao Guan security issues.The goal of this paper is to find out the real reason for its destruction by the inside of the monitoring and analyzing, to develop a targeted reinforcing protection scheme, provide theoretical support for the preservation and protection of the canal Linqing Chao Guan. In this paper, the research results can be not only applied to linqing canal Chao guan and affiliated construction of strengthening protection, but also be used in the protection of the Linqing paragraph of Grande Canale and the other of ancient buildings, It has reference significance to the protection of ancient buildings along the Grande Canale inscription.
