With the development of satellite communication and telemetry control technology, the shipborne antenna tracking system becomes more and more important. The key point of shipborne antenna system is combining the traditional antenna tracking technology with some specific methods to segregate the influence of moving carrier onto gesture of the antenna so that the main lobe of antenna is precisely pointed to satellite and carry out continuous communication.Usually, system design is a complex task. With rapid development of the computer technology, system simulation has been developed into a specialized subject, which provides a powerful tool for the system design. Therefore, the antecedent simulation is necessary to design a shipborne antenna system. In order to establish the simulation model, we should not only establish the mathematical model of antenna tracking system, but also establish the mathematical model of the moving carrier.In this paper, we present a 4 node distributed simulation system based on midelware technology for designing shipbore antenna system. Firstly, a mathematical model for the system simulation is established. The complete simulation is divided into ship rolling model and antenna tracking model, which are assigned to two processors for numerical calculation. Due to the coupling between two models, there will be data exchange between the processors. In this system, the data exchange between processors is implemented by DDS midware. Finally, the system is debugged and feasibility of the scheme is proved. The process of designing this simulation system provides a new thought for the future research on complex system simulation. The DDS technology is not widely used in the distributed simulation. So this work has some certain reference values in theoretical research and engineering application.
