The Design And Implementation Of Tensile Testing Machine Control System

Tensile testing machine is a kind of equipment testing mechanical properties, which can be used to test material tensile strength, fatigue characteristics and so on. It has been widely used in fields of industry and education scientific research. With the development of science and technology, this field has made great progress. The old testing machines with poor test methods and complex operations are being replaced by machines with powerful functions, high control accuracy and good user experience. This thesis implements the tensile testing machine control system based on computer control.According to the tensile testing machine investigation, the system structure is introduced and the control system requirements are summarized. Its control system implementation scheme based on computer and lower computer controller is presented, then the feasibility and advantages are analyzed in this thesis. For the computer control software, this thesis states its detailed functions and design user interface, software framework based on multithread, closed-loop control algorithm combing segmentation control and improved PID, etc. For lower computer controller, this thesis analyzes its function modules, presents their technical specifications and proposes the lower computer controller implementation scheme based on embedded PLC. Meanwhile, the hardware design, driver and application development on this platform are also stated in the thesis.The computer control software and lower computer controller of the tensile testing machine control system are tested. The test result shows that the control system based on the scheme proposed in this paper can satisfy the needs of industry. At last, the work is summarized and the trend of tensile testing machine is proposed.
