With its high strength, large capacity, good water stability and the economic advantange, Cement Stabilized Macadam has become the main type of highway grassroots. The thickness of cement stabilized macadam semi-rigid base is generally between 25~36cm, in the actual construction process, the base is generally divided into two layer paving, after 7 days maintenance of the first layer, it can start the constructionof second layer. The main problems caused by layered construction includes: 1)the monolithic is bad, 2)the grassroots is easy to damage, 3)the cracking of the up-base and sub-base will mutual reflect, 4)the work period is long and increase construction costs. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the technology of the cement stabilization crushed stone large thickness integral rolling studying.This paper start with the survey of Cement Stabilized Macadam Base Construction Situation, summarize the existing shortage of cement stabilized gravel construction technology. And lanch the study of control of construction quality of cement stabilized gravel grassroots, providing the basis and reference for construction quality control of thick layer of cement stabilized macadam. Utilizing the finite element software to establish road numerical model, analyzing tensile stress within the various layers of the pavement structure, the results showed enhancing the adhesion of the grassroots level can effectively reduce the tensile stress and improve the life of base. Then compare the differences of strength and durability by forming different specimens of cement stabilized gravel, analyze the economic benefit. The results show grassroots road performance drops with the decrease of interlayer combination, comparing with the existing construction technology, continuous paving technology of thick layer of cement stabilized macadam base layered can enhance the combine of the grassroots level, it can reduce the construction cost. Finally, optimize the machinery selection for thick layer of cement stabilized macadam base construction, develop a reasonable paving compaction process, and we constructed the test road to prove the feasibility of the study.
