| Contrary to road base service performance are not good enough in many major repair works, we test and analysis the base in two major repair works in Shanxi and Zhejiang provinces, then study the base states in whole and thick cement stabilized stone base. In the study, we design four representative typical kinds of inter-layer state in base from totally continuous to smooth, then analyze the test effect to cement stabilized stone base by the above-mentioned four inter-layer states. The results show that:even in the best state in spot, the performance dropped conspicuous because of not completely continuous, especially the fatigue performance. The widespread adverse states in base cause the stress in base changed from designing overall layer to a number of thin-layers. Reduce its performance. Besides, software simulation results show that the location of the downward movement can reduce the tensile-stress in the bottom of base and enhance its fatigue performance. The result of life-circle cost analysis shows that decrease the adverse states effect in base can reduce project cost largely. At last, we constructed the test road in Liang-Long Expressway in Zhejiang Province.The research results have important value for the application of the whole and thick cement stabilized aggregate base. |
